Why Douche?

Douching has become more common over the years for colon cleansing and for preparation before anal play. There are many schools of thought of the benefits and risks of enemas and regular colon cleansing and we are not subscribing to any one philosophy. We designed the StreemMaster™ products for a method of cleaning your bowel easily, quickly, while removing some the dangers that existed with old designs.

The anus, rectum and colon are wondrous organs full of nerves and sensitivity. In addition, in men the anal passage provides access to the prostate which is an incredible “g-spot” for men. In recent years, men have become more openminded and are enjoying the awesome pleasure of prostate stimulation; as a result a new class of products has emerged called prostate stimulators. A quick douche before using a prostate stimulator is desirable.

Douching is a simple and quick process, it can be done in just a few minutes and with StreemMaster™systems it's simpler then ever. To the inexperienced it may seem daunting or messy, but once you've tried it a few times it's like taking a quick shower before you go out and you feel clean and fresh in a great way.

Being Clean = Confidence and More Pleasure

Whatever your anal desires may be, we know that for most people, it is more satisfying, comfortable, and enjoyable for all involved if you have a clean rectum and the confidence to relax.

If you are clean when you are using insertables, there is less irriation, no undesirable smells, and more pleasure.

Douching is a simple process of irrigating the lower bowel (rectum) to wash out feces. This is often called an enema. Deep enemas are for cleansing your colon. Above the rectum, the colon is made of a number of chambers, and most often you will NOT need to clean this far up your system. However you can clean deep and colonic centers have made an industry of this...the StreemMaster can clean deep quite effectively, plus it is sitable for use with a colon hose for very (did we say "very"!) deep cleaning; but for most people a shallow cleaning is what's best for anal intercourse or prostate stimulation.

Every person will have a different experience with enemas, as we are all different. Naturally the food we eat, our regular bowel patterns, and the overall health or particulars of our systems has a significant impact. A high fibre diet contributes to keeping your colon healthy and ease of cleaning.

The StreemMaster™ Shower Douche comes with douching instructions including diagrams for four common positions for douching.

Douching for Sex or to use a Prostate Stimulator

For most people, a shallow (rectum only) douche is going to make your anal sex experience better. For prostate stimulation only, this is quickly achieved using our Mini Douche with a quick few rinses. For deeper play, this can be accomplished by using the StreemMaster™ so that you only take in as much water as you feel is comfortable without any bloating or pressure. Not forcing water into your system is desirbale as you are less likely to have water seeping into the large colon. This is advantageous as water that moves into to colon may come down a later time. However every person is different and you will figure out what type of routine makes you reliably clean. With experience you’ll be able to tell if you are cleaning shallow or deep – as you will feel water moving into your upper colon. If you are looking to clean deep for play with larger toys, this will take longer and you may try traditional enema positions, like lying on your side.

FAQ

HOW DO I CLEAN QUICKLY?

We’ve designed the StreemMaster™ systems for shallow/quick or deep rectal cleaning. For a shallow cleaning:

1. Using the StreemMaster™ system, clip it onto your shower and turn the shower on.

2. Set the temperature to a luke warm setting.

3. Ensure that the temperature has stabilized from your shower.

4. Adjust the flow rate using our clamp control to a lower (reduced water flow) setting to begin.

5. If you have a lubricant like petroleum jelly or silicone based personal lube, apply some to the nozzle tip.

6. Get in the shower and gently insert the nozzle slightly into your anus. You do not need to insert the whole nozzle. You should feel water entering your rectum. For a shallow cleaing you only need to do this for a few moments – certainly stop if you feel some uncomfortable pressure in your bowel.

7. Gently pull the nozzle out of the anus, and you will likely feel the urge to expel.

8. Move to the toilet and expel.

9. You can do this several times until you are expelling mostly clear water.

HOW DEEP DO I NEED TO CLEAN/DOUCHE?

On most people the rectum is long enough for receiving penetration by an average sized penis. This means that only shallow cleaning is required. However if the rectum is shorter and/or the penis is larger you can find that you feel a pressure or pain when the penis is pushing deep. The rectum attaches to the colon with another sphincter and this sometimes referred to as the second (or third by some) sphincter. This sphincter acts just like your anus, it’s normally contracted and acts as a doorway for feces moving down your system. It also is closed for objects moving upwards – so if your penetrator hits this sphincter you will feel some pain and discomfort until it opens. With gentle pushing this sphincter will usually open but it can also tear or cramp badly if you are using toys or being very rough, so it’s good to say when it hurts and understand what is going on. Depending on what you like for anal play you may need to clean deep and you can see more on this further down this page.

HAS THE STREEMMASTER BEING DESIGNED WITH SAFETY IN MIND?

We’ve designed the StreemMaster™ with your safety in mind. Some of our design features that contribute to the StreemMaster™ being a safer system are:

  1. We’ve designed the StreemMaster™ to convert household water pressure to a safer, lower pressure of approximately 3 pounds per square inch. This is enough pressure to blow up a balloon with water – and therefore effectively irrigate your bowel. [Using a hose connected directly to your shower can seriously damage your colon. The stream of water from the nozzle leaves with such force it also tears your membranes making you more susceptible to bleeding and infection.]
  2. We’ve installed a substantial control clamp so you can easily and precisely control the output flow rate. Since the StreemMaster runs at a low pressure, you may find that you can leave it on maximum flow rate and still comfortably perform a douche. Experts say that you should only allow a few cups of water to enter the bowel per minute.
  3. The nozzles we’ve designed have a rounded tip and will provide the least discomfort when inserting into the anus.
  4. Our silicone funnel bag and hose is a high quality silicone similarly to what is commonly found in medical facilities. Silicone is mold resistant and easily sterilizable, not to mention it feels great and is very durable.

DOES THE STREEMMASTER™ WORK WITH ANY SHOWER?

The StreemMaster™ is engineered to work with the common North American shower system. Through clever design, only one part needs to connect to your shower, and that is our universal bridle clip, which is designed to fit over your shower arm. This part installs and removes in just one second without the need for tools. The funnel bag is designed to fit the smallest high force designs to the over-sized shower heads. This includes larger designer models (up to 5.5" wide and 5" deep). You can have confidence that this system will work at most hotels, on cruise ships, at your friend's house, etc.

HOW DOES WATER PRESSURE AFFECT THE OPERATION?

The StreemMaster™ will work with standard household water pressure without the need to limit flow with your shower controls. We've engineered the StreemMaster™ to neatly drain off water up to 3.5 GPM well above modern shower system outputs. Most modern showerheads operate at under 2.5 GPM. Regardless of high shower output, the StreemMaster™ always operates at lower, steady, safer pressure.

HOW DO I INSTALL THE STREEMMASTER™.

The StreemMaster™ is very easy to install. To install you simply place the silicone bag underneath the showerhead, snap the bridle clip over the shower arm and pop the bag loop hole over the bridle clip. Turn the shower on and it is working. It is so simple and quick, you'll be amazed.

HOW DO I CONTROL THE FLOW RATE FROM THE NOZZLE?

We provide a laboratory specification 12 position clamp valve that can control the output pressure. This valve can be moved by the user to any position on the hose for easy operation. You can operate the nozzle with one hand while controlling flow with the other. This is a premium clamp valve; the same brand and model you'd find in hospitals.

HOW LONG IS THE HOSE?

The douche hose is 72” (6’0 feet) long and is a larger diameter for greater flow with a thick wall to prevent creasing during operation.

CAN I USE OTHER NOZZLES?

Yes, the StreemMaster™ can be used with other nozzles or you can buy our multi-color nozzle pack. We've made our hose adapter extra wide for high-flow (you control flow rate) and it uses standard ECM threading.

HOW DO I STORE IT?

The StreemMaster™ is a versatile product. It is made of premium materials for durability and ease of use. The silicone funnel bag can be folded up tightly and it will come back to its original shape when released. However, depending on how long it has been folded, it may develop temporary creases or apparent deformation - this is one of the properties of silicone. These will usually disappear after use or if it is allowed to hang for a while (or place it in hot water). However regardless of the creases, the StreemMaster™ will operate normally.

WHY SILICONE?

Silicone has long been used in the medical industry and is a premium material. We chose silicone because its properties were ideal for StreemMaster™ - it returns to its shape after folding, it is mold resistant, non-allergenic, non-reactive to many fluids, easy to clean, very collapsible and it's sexy!

CAN THE STREEMMASTER™ OVERFLOW?

If the StreemMaster™ overflows check to ensure the drain hose is not restricted in some way (ie. creased). It is possible for the StreemMaster™ to overflow if the water flow from the shower is too great. This could be caused by a showerhead with the water saver and mesh filter removed. In modern showerheads you cannot usually remove these. The StreemMaster™ has been carefully engineered and tested so this won't happen. Thus, this would be a very unusual situation and if should happen, you can still use the douche, simply reduce the output of the shower.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE STREEMMASTER™?

The nozzle is designed to be easily removed by unscrewing. Never share a used nozzle with another person. We sell additional nozzles if you wish to share your StreemMaster™ with another person. Nozzles and tubing can be cleaned with soap and water. The bag is made of premium silicone rubber blend and is mold resistant. It can be washed with soap and water and even boiled over a gentle heat (it will melt on high heat). All tubing is semi-transparent for easy inspection.
